Terms of sale and use
These terms govern your use of torviabeauty.com and any order placed with TORVIA. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and accepted them.

2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18, or have reached the age of majority in your province or state of residence, to place an order. Our products are intended for personal use and not for resale.
3. Products
Our products are cosmetics for external use. They are not medicines and are not intended to diagnose, treat or cure any condition. Read the ingredient list before use and patch-test on a small area of skin if you have known sensitivities. If a reaction occurs, stop using the product and consult a healthcare professional.
Visuals are illustrative. Slight variations in shade, texture or packaging may occur between batches.
4. Prices and payment
Our prices are set in Canadian dollars (CAD), excluding taxes and delivery charges, which are calculated and displayed before payment is confirmed. For orders delivered to the United States, prices are converted and displayed in US dollars (USD) at the prevailing rate.
Prices may change at any time, but the price applicable to your order is the one displayed when it is confirmed.
Payment is processed by Shopify Payments. TORVIA does not retain any card data.
5. Orders
An order is deemed accepted when the confirmation email is sent. TORVIA reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order, in particular where an item is out of stock, where there is an obvious pricing or description error, where fraud is suspected, or where the order is intended for resale. If an order is cancelled after payment, it is refunded in full.
6. Promotional codes
Promotional codes cannot be combined with one another unless stated otherwise, cannot be exchanged for cash, and may be withdrawn at any time. They are for personal use; misuse results in cancellation.
7. Delivery
Destinations, timescales and charges are set out in our Shipping Policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.
8. Returns and refunds
Return conditions are set out in our Return and Refund Policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.
9. Customer account
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for any activity carried out under your account. Tell us without delay of any unauthorised use.
10. Use of the site
You may not use the site for unlawful purposes, introduce malicious code, extract its data by automated means, or disrupt its operation. TORVIA may suspend access in the event of a breach.
11. Intellectual property
All content on the site belongs to TORVIA or its licensors and is protected. No licence to use it is granted by these terms.
12. User-submitted content
If you post a review, photograph or comment, you grant TORVIA a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use it for promotional purposes. You warrant that you hold the rights to that content. We may remove any content that is unlawful, misleading or offensive.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, TORVIA's liability in respect of an order may not exceed the amount paid for it. TORVIA is not liable for indirect damages. Nothing in these terms limits the rights granted to you by the Québec Consumer Protection Act or any other applicable public policy law.
14. Force majeure
TORVIA is not liable for delay or non-performance resulting from an event beyond its reasonable control, including natural disaster, labour dispute, transport failure, government measure or supplier failure.

16. Changes to these terms
TORVIA may change these terms at any time. The version applicable to your order is the one in force when you place it.
17. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the province of Québec and the laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district of Montréal, Québec. Customers resident outside Québec retain the benefit of the mandatory provisions of the law of their place of residence.
